After a 25 minute wait, I finally connected to an agent who was very polite and helpful, he explained it was a current problem with Shaw, Bell and Telus as they swapped lines for one reason or another and expected it to be dealt with in the next couple of hours.
He then proceeded to ask me if I needed any more help, I said no, thanked him, he wished me a good day and an enjoyable weekend. I couldn't help myself.
I said "You too! Enjoy the rapture! ;)"
